- Another remedy includes lemon juice and honey. Mix two tbps of honey with one lemon juice. Apply it to heal the tanned skin and lighten the skin tone.
- A mixture of potato juice and lemon juice also works wonders. Mix 1 tsp both of potato juice and lemon juice and apply on the affected area. Wash off after leaving for 15 minutes.
- Application of raw milk with lemon juice also helps in treating tanned skin. Apply this solution regularly. Leave it for about 15 minutes and rinse off.
* A popular remedy for sunburn is of mustard oil. Rub it on the area and allow it to dry. This home remedy provides quick relief. An application of lavender oil or peppermint oil also works well.
* The simplest remedy to get relief from the irritating burnt skin is to apply ice on the area frequently.
